Friday, August 11, 2017, 1:00 PM: Viticulture Seminar with Dr. Imed Dami from The Ohio State University and Dr. Horst Caspari with Colorado State University. The session takes place at the Western Colorado Community College, 2508 Blichmann Ave., Grand Junction (Click for map).

- key practices for balanced vines to produce high quality wines
- growing practices for cold-tolerant hybrid species vs. Vitis vinifera
- irrigation management (why, when and how much)
- monitoring and managing soil and vine nutrients
This afternoon seminar is free, part of a USDA Specialty Crop Block Grant Program through the Colorado Dept. of Ag. Click here to register.
Dr. Dami will also be available for 3-hour, individual viticulture consultation sessions on August 9-10. If you are interested in scheduling a session with him, please contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org. The cost is $100, payable to him personally.
