TTB Compliance and Labeling Seminar

The Colorado Wine Industry Development Board will host a seminar for Colorado wineries and winemakers at the Colorado Department of Agriculture, 305 Interlocken Pkwy, Broomfield, CO 80021 on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 beginning at 9:00 AM.

The morning session will include: a brief TTB compliance presentation from retired TTB employee Jerry Cajka, who has recently moved to Colorado, after an in-depth review of TTB label rules from Michael Kaiser, VP of WineAmerica and one of the most knowledgeable people in the country on the intricacies and processes of TTB label approval.  Both speakers will participate in a Q&A session after lunch, which is included in the $40 registration fee.

In the afternoon, we will sample some of the wines made from frozen grapes and juice that were surplus in recent harvests here in Colorado.  Dr. Steve Menke, CSU State Enologist, will lead a panel discussion with winemakers that have used the frozen surplus grapes and a tasting of those wines.
