Durango Wine Walk Launch Party

In collaboration with 4 Leaves Winery, Durango Winery, Sutcliff Vineyards and Visit Durango. Launching on August 1st, and available all-day any-day, the Durango Wine Walk is a ‘passport’ for a self-guided walking tour (with map) of the 4 wine tasting rooms on Main Ave. The flexibility of the walk being available any day allows for folks to spontaneously jump into the experience the taste of the Southwest when they see fit!

The program is simple: Stop in at any one of the four wineries and purchase your Durango Wine Walk commemorative glass for $10, grab your winery guide and map, then pick and choose which wineries to visit. Show your glass at each location to unlock the benefits of the Wine Walk Experience: Each location has unique discounts and promotions specifically for their own tasting room. (For Example: EsoTerra offers a Buy One, Get One half off discount on flights of their ciders and wines!) Can’t fit all four in one day? Bring your glass the next day and continue! Each location will sign off on your visit as you arrive, so carry your passport with you!

Inspired by the new vineyard EsoTerra is planting 15 minutes south of Main Ave, and tired of hearing from locals and tourists alike that ‘we didn’t know there was a winery in Durango’, Elizabeth Philbrick, Co-Founder of EsoTerra, took the lead on forming a walk that included all four of Durango’s wineries. “I want to see the rising tide of wineries in Durango raise everyone’s boat, not just ours’. Elizabeth is not only out to prove that ‘Cider is Wine’, but also to showcase EsoTerra’s new line of grape wines, grown and produced right here in Durango.
